Chapter 3MaintenanceTo keep <strong>the</strong> equipment functioning properly, perform <strong>the</strong>minor maintenance tasks in this section at <strong>the</strong> intervalsshown on <strong>the</strong> maintenance checklist. Failure to maintain <strong>the</strong>equipment as described in this section could void <strong>the</strong> <strong>Precor</strong>Limited Warranty.DANGERTo reduce <strong>the</strong> risk of electrical shock, alwaysdisconnect <strong>the</strong> equipment from its power sourcebefore cleaning it or performing any maintenancetasks. If <strong>the</strong> equipment is self-powered but alsouses <strong>the</strong> optional power adapter, disconnect <strong>the</strong>adapter.Daily Cleaning<strong>Precor</strong> recommends that you clean <strong>the</strong> equipment before <strong>and</strong>after each exercise session. To remove dust <strong>and</strong> dirt from <strong>the</strong>equipment, wipe all exposed surfaces with a soft cloth thatyou have moistened with one of <strong>the</strong> following cleaners:• A solution of 30 parts of water to 1 part of Simple Green®(for more information, visit www.simplegreen.com)• ENVIR-O-SAFE oxygen enhanced cleaner or multi-taskcleaner concentrate, diluted according to <strong>the</strong>manufacturer’s instructions (for more information, visitwww.daleyinternational.com)
