Chapter 5Commercial CardiovascularEquipment Limited WarrantyPLEASE READ THESE WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFOREUSING YOUR PRECOR INCORPORATED PRODUCT. BY USING THE EQUIPMENT, YOUARE CONSENTING TO BE BOUND BY THE FOLLOWING WARRANTY TERMS ANDCONDITIONS.Limited Warranty.Precor Incorporated warrants all new Precor products to be free from defects in materialsand manufacture for the warranty periods set forth below. The warranty periodscommence on the invoice date of the original purchase. This warranty applies only againstdefects discovered within the warranty period and extends only to the original purchaserof the product. Parts repaired or replaced under the terms of this warranty will bewarranted for the remainder of the original warranty period only. To claim under thiswarranty, the buyer must notify Precor or your authorized Precor dealer within 30 daysafter the date of discovery of any nonconformity and make the affected product availablefor inspection by Precor or its service representative. Precor’s obligations under thiswarranty are limited as set forth below.Warranty Periods and Coverage.All Commercial Cardiovascular Products (excluding StretchTrainer, StrengthProducts, and coverage specific to certain models and options as definedbelow):• Frame: 7 years• Treadmill drive motor: 5 years• Items subject to wear: 1 year• All other parts (including mechanical parts and electronic parts): 2 years• Labor: 1 year880 Line Commercial Cardiovascular Products (superseding the coverageabove where applicable):• Labor on the P80 console: 2 years• High wear items on the P80 console, including headphone jack, USB connector, andiPod® connector: 90 days
