Clarification – 12Our reply= Details of energy conservation techniques proposed.Details of energy efficient construction materials to beused to achieve the desired thermal comfort.= Only IS approved building material will be used forconstruction and will be procured from approved agencies.The major material required for construction of the proposedproject will be steel, cement, brick, flooring tiles/stones,sanitary and hardware items etc.Further energy conservation measures will be exercised bygood orientation of buildings, tree plantation, etc. byadopting the following measures:Adequate design to limit the losses in transmission anddistribution system.Use of energy efficient devices like light sources such astrue-light fluorescent lamps and compact fluorescentlamps [CFLs].Use of insulation on roof top to reduce air-conditioningload.Use of capacitors at load centers to improve voltage andpower factor to reduce distributional losses and also toavoid penalty by state electricity authority.All high efficiency motors will be used in the Hospitalcomplex.Variable Frequency Drives are proposed to installed forhydro-pneumatic system for water supply and Secondarychilled water pumps for air-conditioning.Clarification – 13Our replyClarification – 14Our reply= Whether rehabilitation or resettlement required?
