COLMAR
Esta pequeña ciudad y comuna se encuentra en el departamento del alto
Rin, es una ciudad antigua, bien conservada, con muchas construcciones
del estilo gótico alemán, casitas muy cuidadas con sus típicas vigas cruzadas
en la fachada y pintadas de colores vivos, con sus balcones llenos de flores.
Son muchos los lugares de interés en Colmar, pero uno de los más bonitos
es la Pequeña Venecia donde las pintorescas casitas con sus pintorescos
balcones se alinean a lo largo de la calle y el muelle, junto al canal.
EGUISHEIM
Es un pueblo vitícola increíblemente bello que debe su fama a dos factores:
uno es la disposición particular con que están alineadas sus casas
antiguas admirablemente conservadas; y otro es la óptima calidad de
los vinos que produce la región. Se puede recorrer la aldea siguiendo el
trazado de las viejas murallas, construidas así como las casas, de manera
concéntrica en torno al castillo principal.

It’s an incredibly beautiful wine village that owes its fame to
two factors: one is the particular arrangement in which its
wonderfully preserved houses are; and the other is the high
quality of the wines produced in the region. You can tour the
village following the route of the old walls, built, as well as the
houses, concentrically around the main castle.
FOOD AND WINE
Traditional Alsatian cuisine has many dishes, the best known are
the tarte flambée, the fleischschnackas and the sauerkraut, foie gras,
snails, cabbage and asparagus, and desserts such as kugelhopf.
Alsatian wines receive the general denomination Vins d’Alsace and
are mostly white, fruit of the grape varieties Riesling, Sylvaner,
and other reds like Pinot Noir, are really recognized worldwide
for its high quality.
