The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA)<br />
The DDA was passed in 1995 to end <strong>the</strong><br />
discrimination that many disabled people face.<br />
From 2004 service providers need to have made<br />
reasonable adjustments to <strong>the</strong> physical features<br />
of <strong>park</strong>s and green space to remove physical<br />
barriers to access. The Code of Practice –<br />
Rights of access, goods, facilities, services<br />
and premises – is available from <strong>the</strong> Disability<br />
