Scientific Collaborations
We work with communities throughout the world to establish standards,
exchange information, improve methods for analysis and share the curation of
complex biological information. Our highly collaborative research programme
benefits from strong, productive partnerships with a large network of academic
peers throughout the world.
Joint grant funding
In 2015, EMBL-EBI had joint grant funding with researchers and institutes in 52 countries throughout the world,
most notably in the United Kingdom, Germany, France and the Netherlands but also with colleagues in countries
with modest research communities such as Senegal. Of the 162 grants received, 51 were exclusively for EMBL.
These figures are potentially underestimated, as all partners are not always listed on grants.
