Welcome On Board
letter from the president
Happy New Year to you all.
Last year marked a momentous
change and transition for Thailand.
We lost a beloved “Father of the
Nation,” His Majesty the late King
Bhumibol Adulyadej and our country
continues to mourn.
Yet our spirits have been lifted
as his heir has acceded to the
throne and we congratulate our
new sovereign, His Majesty King
Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun.
With our new
ruler, we usher in a new golden era
of the Chakri Dynasty.
On behalf of Bangkok Airways,
Asia’s Boutique Airline, I’d like to
welcome you to the year 2017
and also the Lunar New Year of the
Rooster. We wish you have many
chances to travel as a way to
energise yourself both physically
and mentally, and to be ready for a
good start in all aspects of life and
throughout the year.
Bangkok Airways is committed
to giving passengers our very best
service. Last year, we opened new
routes; with direct flights from
Chiang Mai to Mae Hong Son and
from Bangkok to Danang thereby
making it more convenient for all
passengers. This year, we plan to
upgrade our services to meet your
needs for more travel satisfaction.
In 2016, we obtained 7 of the
latest ATR72-600 planes to join
our fleet, increasing capacity to
service both domestic and Southeast
Asian routes.
For this year, we’re improving
our inflight menus and presenting
the concept of a “Thai Asean
Menu,” with Thai and Asean gastronomy
classics such as Tom Yum
Kung, Seafood Somtam, Thai Green
Curry with Chicken and Chicken
Massaman Curry. The menu is
created by renowned Thai chef,
ML Sirichalerm Svasti (Chef McDang),
in support of the government travel
policy to promote Thai culture and
cuisine. We hope our passengers
will be impressed with this special
service.
On behalf of the Bangkok
Airways committee, executives and
staff, I would like to thank every
one of you from all over the world
who voted in support of Bangkok
Airways for the Skytrax, Smart
Travel Asia and the TGG Travel
Awards.
Finally, I’d like to wish all of you
happiness in the journey of life
throughout the year. We hope to
continue to be a part of it and to
have the opportunity to give you

ปีที่ผ่านมาเป็นปีที่ประเทศไทยมาถึงจุดเปลี่ยนผ่านครั้ง
ยิ่งใหญ่ นับเป็นความสูญเสียของคนทั้งชาติที่พระบาทสมเด็จ
พระปรมินทรมหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดช รัชกาลที่ 9 เสด็จสวรรคต
แต่แผ่นดินทองของเราก็ได้รับพระมหากรุณาธิคุณจากสมเด็จ
พระเจ้าอยู่หัวมหาวชิราลงกรณ บดินทรเทพยวรางกูร รัชกาล
ที่ 10 ที่ได้ทรงตอบรับเป็นพระมหากษัตริย์พระองค์ใหม่ของแผ่น
ดินไทย ปวงข้าพระพุทธเจ้าทั้งหลาย ขอพระองค์ทรงพระเจริญ

แอไลน์ ขอกล่าวต้อนรับท่านผู้โดยสารทุกท่านเข้าสู่ปี
พุทธศักราช 2560 หวังว่าทุกท่านได้มีโอกาสเดินทางพักผ่อน
เติมพลังชีวิตเพื่อเริ่มต้นปี 2560 ด้วยสุขภาพกายแข็งแรง
สุขภาพใจที่สดชื่นนะครับ สายการบินบางกอกแอร์เวย์ส ยังคง
มุ่งมั่นในการบริการจากใจ เพื่อสร้างความประทับใจให้กับการ
เดินทางของทุกท่าน โดยเมื่อปีที่ผ่านมาเราได้มีการเพิ่มเส้นทาง
บินใหม่ เส้นทางบินตรง เชียงใหม่-แม่ฮ่องสอน และ กรุงเทพ-
ดานัง (ไป-กลับ) เพื่อการเดินทางสะดวกสบายรวดเร็วยิ่งขึ้น
ส่วนปี 2560 นี้บริษัทฯ มีแผนการพัฒนาการบริการ
ต่างๆ เพื่อเตรียมพร้อมที่จะตอบสนองความต้องการของผู้
โดยสาร โดยเมื่อปี 2559 นี้เราได้รับเครื่องบินแบบ ATR72-600
รุ่นใหม่ล่าสุดสำหรับให้บริการมาแล้วทั้งสิ้นจำนวน 7 ลำ จาก
จำนวนสั่งซื้อใหม่ทั้งหมด 9 ลำ เข้ามาเพิ่มในฝูงบิน ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่ง
ในการเตรียมความพร้อมและยกระดับความสามารถในการให้
บริการ ทั้งเส้นทางบินภายในประเทศและภายในภูมิภาคเอเชีย
ตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ นอกเหนือจากนี้การบริการอาหารบนเครื่อง
บินประจำปี 2560 ที่นำเสนอภายใต้แนวคิด “Thai Asean Menu”
ที่ชูความเป็นไทยและกลิ่นอายของความเป็นเอเชีย อาทิเช่น
ส้มตำกุ้ง ต้มยำทะเล แกงเขียวหวานไก่ มัสมั่นไก่ เป็นต้น โดย
แนวคิดดังกล่าว ม.ล. ศิริเฉลิม สวัสดิวัตน์ (เชฟหมึกแดง) ได้
สร้างสรรค์ขึ้นเพื่อสนับสนุนนโยบายของภาครัฐในการส่งเสริม
เรื่องการท่องเที่ยวของประเทศ เราหวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งว่าผู้โดยสาร
จะรู้สึกประทับใจกับบริการพิเศษนี้นะครับ
ผมในฐานะตัวแทนคณะกรรมการ ผู้บริหารและพนักงาน
ทุกคนขอแสดงความขอบคุณสำหรับทุกๆ คะแนนโหวตจาก
ผู้โดยสารทั่วโลกที่ทำให้สายการบินบางกอกแอร์เวย์สได้รับ
รางวัลจาก Skytrax, Smart Travel Asia และ TTG Travel
Award รางวัลเหล่านี้นับเป็นกำลังใจให้เรามุ่งมั่นพัฒนางาน
ด้านบริการต่อไป สุดท้ายนี้ขออวยพรให้ผู้โดยสารทุกท่านมี
ความสุขทั้งสุขภาพร่างกายและจิตใจ ประสบความสำเร็จตลอดปี
2560 โดยสายการบินบางกอกแอร์เวย์ส ขอเป็นส่วนหนึ่งที่จะ
