Peter likes to take a bath – but he isn’t fond at
all of getting his hair washed. Shampoo is a
nasty, burning thing. That is before captain
Frizzybeard appears, small, loud and hunted
by the bad governor. Peter is of such great help
in that battle that Fizzybeard lends him one of
his boats. From that moment, Peter the Red
(with an adventurous eye patch) travels the
Soap Seas, seeking adventures. The monster of
the deep sea has to be captured (dead, it
somehow resembles mum’s wet bathrobe), the
Soap Seas even have to be emptied to get to
see the real treasures (thanks to the bathtub
plug) … Always at Peter’s side: Van Buum, the
quiet cannoneer, his riming parrot and
Rodrigo, the cheerful steersman. After all
these exploits, not even the shampoo scares
Peter anymore: he’s a real Soap Seas’ Pirate!
