In the Valley of the Tschittiwiggl lives the family
of the Tschittiwiggls. Mother and father
Tschittiwiggl are bringing up the twins Joggerle
and Mopperle, the older child Tschok and the
little Ti. They are all living in a beautiful house,
which is a bit chaotic. One day the Big Mock
comes and tramples down everything because
as a Mock he can’t stand untidiness. He wants
to change everything in order to make the
Tschittiwiggls straight and
efficient because it’s not allowed for a
Tschittiwiggl to be happy and lazy. However,
with the help from friends, cleverness and
friendly resistance, and of course with help
from the wise owl, the Tschittiwiggls succeed
in making the Big Mock recognize the importance
of doing it their own way.
The book combines a lovely story about the
importance of uniqueness with
beautiful drawings by Katrin Hornburg.
