After three days ...<br />
หาดใหญ่ยังคงร่ำาลาเราด้วยสายฝน<br />
โปรยปราย ความคิดหนึ่งที่ผุดขึ้นมาระหว่างนั่ง<br />
รถไปสนามบินนั้นเห็นจะเป็นความสงสัยที่ว่า<br />
หากมีโอกาสได้มาคราวหน้า หาดใหญ่จะ<br />
แตกต่างไปขนาดไหน โดยเฉพาะเมื่อหอการค้า<br />
สงขลาพยายามมุ่งปลุกปั้นหาดใหญ่ให้กลาย<br />
เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการ ‘เส้นทางมังกร’ และ<br />
ยิ่งเมื่อถนนมอเตอร์เวย์ที่เชื่อมหาดใหญ่กับด่าน<br />
ศุลกากรสะเดาสร้างเสร็จ เมืองใหญ่แห่งนี้คง<br />
ต้องเติบใหญ่มากขึ้นไปอีกอย่างแน่นอน คิดไป<br />

After three days, Hat Yai says<br />
goodbye to us with a light drizzle of<br />
rain. On the ride to the airport, I<br />
wondered how much Hat Yai would<br />
change should I have the chance to<br />
return, especially since the Songkhla<br />
Chamber of Commerce is pushing Hat<br />
Yai to be part of their “Path of the<br />
Dragon” project, and as a new<br />
motorway connects Hat Yai with the<br />
commercial centre of Sadao. It seems<br />
this large city will only get bigger. I<br />
reached the airport before there was<br />
time to finish that thought. Farewell,<br />
Hat Yai, I hope to see you again.<br />
