with all flesh; and the slain <strong>of</strong> the Lord shall be<br />

many. They that sanctify themselves, and purify<br />

themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the<br />

midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination,<br />

and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith<br />

the Lord. For I know their works and their<br />

thoughts; it shall come, that I will gather all nations<br />

and tongues; and they shall come and see my<br />

glory.’ (Isaiah 66:15-18) God came from Teman,<br />

and the Holy One from Mount Paran. His glory<br />

covered the heavens, and the earth was full <strong>of</strong> his<br />

praise. And his brightness was as the light; he had<br />

horns coming out <strong>of</strong> his hand; and there was the<br />

hiding <strong>of</strong> his power. Before him went the<br />

pestilence, and burning coals went forth at his feet.<br />

He stood, and measured the earth; he beheld, and<br />

drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting<br />

mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did<br />

bow: his ways are everlasting.’ (Habakkuk 3:3-6)<br />

These passages all harmonize. ‘For behold, the day<br />

cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the<br />

proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be<br />

stubble; and the day that cometh shall burn them<br />

up, saith the Lord <strong>of</strong> hosts, that it shall leave them<br />
