Says the apostle, ‘So we preached, and so ye<br />

believed.’ We must, therefore, be ever ready to tell<br />

how we believe, what we believe, and why we<br />

believe. If, therefore, we have no fellowship with<br />

any <strong>of</strong> the abominations so rife among us, we have<br />

the right to tell it to the world. And if a large<br />

company <strong>of</strong> ‘like precious faith’ have the same<br />

views on these points, they have an equal right to<br />

unite in thus proclaiming it to the world. Those<br />

who have sympathy with those things, or who will<br />

unite with none who avow to the world their belief,<br />

have the same privilege to dissent from them. And<br />

if any prefer to stand alone, rather than to unite<br />

with a body who do not act in every respect in<br />

accordance with their individual creed, who seek to<br />

get up a party that do, let it be so understood, that<br />

all may act accordingly and understandingly.<br />

“But what has the Albany Conference done?<br />

Why, it has committed the crime <strong>of</strong> informing the<br />

world <strong>of</strong> some <strong>of</strong> the important truths which the<br />

members <strong>of</strong> it believe the Bible inculcates, with the<br />

reasons therefor; and some things which they<br />
