With a team of Anxiety therapists who have all experienced Anxiety themselves, individuals<br />

who suffer with anxiety can choose which therapist they would like to work with based on<br />

their profile. Therapists work with the client in order to identify underlying causes or triggers<br />

for their anxiety as well as finding ways to address it. Therapists may offer their services via<br />

face-to-face sessions or tele-therapy- that is, phone call or video call. Anxiety Center also offers a<br />

membership plan in which an individual can join a group for question sessions, self-help<br />

information, and much more.<br />

Rates are hourly and vary based on experience of therapist.<br />

At Living Well Counselling, therapists primarily incorporate a psychological approach for<br />

individuals with anxiety, however, if interested, biological, social, spiritual and/or existential<br />

anxiety may be explored. Sessions are offered in person, or through telephone or skype. Before<br />

<strong>book</strong>ing an appointment, 20 minute consultations are offered to ensure the client is comfortable<br />

with a particular therapist. Individual and marital counselling are offered for a range of<br />

concerns including but not limited to anxiety, self-esteem, abuse, and addictions.<br />

Sliding Scale based on therapist and patient circumstances. Benefits may be used if eligible.<br />

Serenity Now is an organization that consists of psychologists, mental health counsellors,<br />

massage therapists, dietitians, and yoga therapists. A goal of Serenity Now is to connect the body<br />

and mind in order to address issues such as stress management and anxiety, PTSD, depression,<br />

addiction, and much more. Services offered include but are not limited to counselling sessions,<br />

Yoga Therapy, Nutrition sessions, Mindfulness and Meditation. For anxiety in particular,<br />

primarily Mindfulness Meditation and Cognitive Therapies are used. In addition to individual<br />

sessions, programs are also available such as a 90-day Addiction Recovery Program, a 90-day<br />

Stick to your Goals Program, a 1-year Life 2.0:Heal, Thrive, and Reclaim your life program, a<br />

monthly Counselling and Yoga Program, and a Cognitive- Behavioural Therapy for Weight<br />

Management. A Worry Smart workshop is also available for children who suffer with anxiety.<br />
