Rocky Mountain Psychological Services offer an array of therapies such as Art Therapy,
Neurotherapy, Play Therapy, Group Counselling, Counselling (child, adolescent, family), and
Psychological and psycho-educational Assessments. For Neurotherapy, Neurofeedback (or EEG
Biofeedback) are used to improve self-regulation skills. Services are tailored to individual needs.
In relation to Child Counselling, Rocky Mountain Psychological Services have Psychologists
who specialize in Child and Adolescent Counselling. Art Therapy aims to enhance a child’s selfexpression,
and Play Therapy aims to enhance self-esteem and teach coping tools to address a
diverse range of concerns such as depression, abuse, trauma, and more.

For anyone experiencing mental health concerns such as depression, self-esteem issues,
suicidal ideations, and emotional regulation issues, Refresh Counselling Calgary offers
counselling by trained Psychologists. Services are offered for individuals, couples and family,
children and adolescents. Refresh Counselling Calgary incorporates several theoretical
frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy with
the goal of supporting clients to find hope and learn tools to reach their goals.

Mood Disorders Program is a component of the Psychiatric Adult Services in the Foothills
Medical Centre; this program specializes in Mood Disorders such as Depression and Bipolar
Disorder for individuals between age 15-64. Included is a psychiatric assessment, treatment,
education and research for short-term or long-term depression and Bipolar Disorder I or II.
Therapy in the Pschiatric Adult Services are provided as individual, couple, or group.
Publicly Funded Health Care for Alberta residents.
Required . To access the Mood Disorders Program, patient must have a referral from a
Doctor. For non-urgent care, individuals looking for referrals or information on resources
may call Access Mental Health.
