With a team of registered psychologists, pediatricians, childhood educators, and learning and<br />
literary specialists, CanLearn offers many different programs for individuals who have (or<br />
have symptoms of) ADHD, learning disabilities, or who experience difficulty with attention,<br />
memory, reading, and/or emotional or behavioural concerns. The organization offers<br />
attention assessment and social/emotional assessments. CanLearn tailors to the needs of the<br />
individual through ADHD coaches, Learning Strategy Sessions, Intensive Social Cognitive<br />
Behavioural Therapy Intervention, LIFE Training, and more.<br />
Sliding Scale<br />
Not required, however some programs offered require a formal diagnosis which can be done<br />
through the assessments.<br />

Ability4Good works mostly with children who are formally diagnosed with a range<br />
of disabilities such as ADHD, Autism, etc. This organization offers Specialized<br />
Services, Behavioural Developmental Aide and Positive Parenting Practices. Depending on<br />
the approved Individual Program Plan based on the needs of the child, there is potential for a<br />
Speech-Language Pathologist, Psychologist, Behavioural Consultant, Occupational<br />
Therapist, and/or a Family Coach to work with the child. Furthermore, sessions may include<br />
individual and/or group based.<br />
Government funded through FSCD (Alberta's Family Supports for Children with Disabilities).<br />
If a child does not have a formal diagnosis, private clinical services and community group<br />
programs are offered but parents/guardians are responsible for the fee as they are not funded<br />
by the government. Fees vary based on service.<br />
