CAPS provides individual and group counselling for those affected by substance use. They can
work from secondary prevention or early intervention, depending on the needs of the client.
CAPS provides referrals to other programs, such as in patient treatment centres. CAPS has
services that are targeted at youth aged 12-24 as well as adults aged 19 and up.

Riverstone provides home/mobile detox/daytox services to people who are trying to safely
withdraw from substances. They are able to provide assessment, medical care, counselling,
treatment preparation and referrals, and harm reduction. They provide these services where
the client is such as in the client's home, in a supportive environment for the client, or a
preferred location for the client.
