The older adult community mental health program provides mental health consultation,<br />
assessment, psychiatric treatment and support to people 65 years and older who are<br />
experiencing late life onset of mental health symptoms. Some symptoms may include memory<br />
decline, confusion, depressed mood, anxiety, psychosis or other mental health symptoms that<br />
affect the person’s ability to cope with daily living activities. Services are provided in the<br />
patient's home.<br />

The Alzheimer Resource Centre provides support and education to individuals experiencing<br />
alzheimer's or dementia and their family/support network. They host educational workshops,<br />
support groups, and Minds in Motion, a light fitness and social program. They also have a<br />
dementia helpline that is designed to help people navigate the disease and answer any questions<br />
about it.<br />
