59 Advertising All hotel advertising must conform to the current Branding Graphics Guidelines. Prior to placement by the hotel, all consumer and trade publication advertising must be submitted to Brand Marketing for review and approval. This is irrespective of the media format, including billboards, radio, TV, press and/or Internet. All advertising and printed material not conforming to all guidelines and destined to be distributed through Radisson Hotel Group/art’otel channels must be approved by Brand Marketing. The hotel may advertise or merchandise only alone or with the Brand and no other brand or name, nor any hotel ownership group or management company or supplier. Brand Marketing must approve unique opportunities prior to use. The hotel must maintain an advertising file containing items specified by Brand Marketing including, but not limited to, all published advertisements in connection with the hotel. All advertising references with regard to placing a reservation with the hotel must follow the preferred channels listed: • artotel.com or, if applicable, localised website (e.g. artotels.co.uk, artotels.nl, artotels.de etc.); • Through ‘your nearest art’otel Regional office’; • Via a travel agent/tour operator; • If the hotel has its own toll-free number or an art’otel specific number, the hotel must follow the words toll-free in the advertisement. Promotions and marketing programmes Hotels must support and participate in brand-wide promotions and offers. Brand-wide support of the promotions and offers helps to ensure their success. No hotel may substitute or modify these programmes. The hotel must comply with the required procedures of each programme in which it participates. Once the hotel accepts the terms and conditions (including rates, discounts, fees, etc.) of a deal (by affirmatively opting in, failing to opt out, or by accepting the benefits of the programme or from the account), the hotel must comply fully with the relevant agreement, irrespective of whether the hotel is a party to that agreement. art’otel® will issue other special promotional programmes as appropriate. Hotels are required to participate in and comply with all brand promotions, rate programmes and corresponding rate rules including: • Seasonal leisure promotions; • Holiday promotions; • Weekend promotions; • Meetings and incentives. The hotel may participate in those co-branded initiatives under the Radisson Hotel Group of Brands. If any promotion/marketing requires co-branding, the programme must be pre-approved by Brand Marketing. To ensure the success of these promotional programmes, follow the requirements below: Fully train all Front Office Team Members to properly handle all art’otel system-wide promotions and offers. Encourage guest participation in all art’otel marketing promotions and offers. Award Gold Points®, Look to BookSM points and travel professional commissions to all promotional packages IF the promotions and offers require this. Promotion display Only Brand-authorised and approved promotional materials may be displayed within the hotel. Except for a limited number of local materials, all advertising and promotional materials displayed, located or held in the hotel may only relate to the Radisson Hotel Group of brands, or as approved by Brand Marketing. All items must be maintained in as-new condition. The hotel must display Brand materials in the Brand approved counter/desktop display case. Brand Marketing must approve all promotional materials prior to printing or production. The hotel may have a limited amount of local attraction materials to be displayed.
