IT FEELS LIKE this winter has been particularly long, but finally

we’re seeing the first signs of spring. I don’t know about you, but this

is one of the most exciting times of year for me – nature seems to wake

up and each day brims with possibility. We’ve tried to harness that positive

energy in this issue and bring you the most exciting inspiration and trends

for the new season. On page 36 you can find the Colour Forecast, where our

experts predict the shades clients will be craving for S/S20. There are also

exciting developments on page 32, where we hear all about the new National

Hairdressing Apprenticeship, which promises to revitalise the industry and

entice young people into this rewarding career path. And don’t forget to

enter the Most Wanted and The It List Awards – it’s the second year that all

categories are open to hairdressers and salon owners from Ireland. Turn to

page 24 for details, start creating your entry and make this the year that

you head to London and come back with a trophy. Best of luck!
