CHOCOLATE BOX
From gooey caramels and
praline mousses to rich cocoas
and dark ganache, there’s a
sweet treat of inspiration for
every head of hair. “I love the
realistic qualities of a buttery
blonde, using natural warmth
and not over-lifting,” says Aine
Carty, stylist at Rossano’s. “I use
a lower volume or a freehand
clay-based lightener to create
this look, and finish it off with
a Redken Shades EQ Gloss.”
For Leandro Santana Santos,
owner of Decode Hair by
Leandro, it’s all about health
and technique. “With these
hair colours application is key,
as you want to ensure the hair
remains in the best possible
condition so that it is full of
shine,” he explains. “Balayage
will become softer, especially for
brunettes, with a more refined
feel.” Aine agrees, adding: “I
love alternating customisable
tones to contour the face shape
and make the eye colour pop.
A personal favourite shade of
mine is mocha – it screams class
and sophistication.”
