The art gift book introduces 33 selected artists from 20 countries around the globe. Starting in Vol. 2 of the “Excellent Art” series, each book will also introduce one famous musical work that may contribute to the harmonious overall sound, alongside a topic related selection of haiku poetry. Peter Kadrmas‘ Hayter style etchings bear witness to the artist’s masterful<br />
printing skills. His works are not only composed of colored areas but also contain<br />
figurescapes marked by a distinct artistic diction and an expansive scope<br />
of interpretation. The subtle colors make the artist’s mental processes emerge<br />
in irreproducible dynamic detail, leading to a surreal picture that conveys new<br />
messages. The different color tones produce an exquisite sound, conjure up<br />
vague visions and poetic reflections on perception, memory, and reality. The<br />
painter’s translation of iconic subjects is one of the basic principles in his œuvre.<br />

Die Hayter-Radierungen von Peter Kadrmas zeugen von den großen druckgrafischen<br />
Fähigkeiten des Künstlers. Seine Werke sind nicht allein Flächenkompositionen,<br />
sondern auch Figurenlandschaften, geprägt von einer eigenen künstlerischen<br />
Diktion und einem erweiterten Deutungsschema. In subtilem Kolorit<br />
erwächst aus Gedankengebilden eine im Detail nicht wiederholbare Dynamik,<br />
die zu einem surrealen Bildkontext führt und neue Botschaften vermittelt. Dabei<br />
erzeugen verschiedene Farbnuancen einen erlesenen Klang, wecken schemenhafte<br />
Visionen und poetische Reflexionen über Wahrnehmung, Gedächtnis<br />
