The art gift book introduces 33 selected artists from 20 countries around the globe. Starting in Vol. 2 of the “Excellent Art” series, each book will also introduce one famous musical work that may contribute to the harmonious overall sound, alongside a topic related selection of haiku poetry. Expansive Gestures<br />

Jani Jan J’s works seem like passionate emotional outbreaks on behalf of the<br />
painter. With his expressive, dynamic individual style, he applies pure colors<br />
to the painting panel. Contrast plays a vital role. The movements of his green<br />
figures, luminous against a red background, are manipulated by his dynamic<br />
approach to shapes. Seemingly born from color, his figures are exuberant.<br />
Thoughtfully and individually placed, their gestures are so expansive that they<br />
threaten to burst out of the picture. The dynamic relationship between shape<br />
and color is set against a complementary energy field, enabling observers to<br />
keep looking for deeper aspects emerging behind the more obvious layers of<br />
meaning and folkloristic narrative.<br />
Mit überschwänglichem Gestus<br />

Jani Jan J.s <strong>Kunst</strong>werke wirken wie temperamentvolle Gefühlsausdrücke des<br />
Malers. In expressiver Weise und mit kräftigem Duktus bringt er reine Farbwerte<br />
auf den Bildträger. Dabei spielen starke Farbkontraste eine tragende Rolle.<br />
Aus dem roten Hintergrund heraus leuchtende Grünwerte werden durch eine<br />
schwungvolle Formenhandschrift bewegt. Scheinbar aus der Farbe geboren,<br />
sind die Figuren voller Überschwang. Individuell und durchdacht gesetzt, drohen<br />
sie mit ausladender Gestik das Bildformat zu sprengen. Die dynamische<br />
Beziehung zwischen Farbe und Form spielt sich in einem komplementären<br />
Kraftfeld ab, sodass hinter der offensichtlichen Bedeutungsebene und der folkloristischen<br />
Erzählstruktur munter weitergelesen werden kann.<br />
