The art gift book introduces 33 selected artists from 20 countries around the globe. Starting in Vol. 2 of the “Excellent Art” series, each book will also introduce one famous musical work that may contribute to the harmonious overall sound, alongside a topic related selection of haiku poetry. The Sound of Painting<br />
Classical music is a vital inspiration in Irina Kassabova’s work. Educated in classical<br />
music, the artist has forged a life-long connection with it. The way she portrays<br />
musical instruments bears witness to her musical sensitivity. Harmoniously,<br />
their sound emerges from the white background, artistically challenging the<br />
non-colors of black and white. The way she plays the lines in her charcoal and<br />
pastel drawings allows observers a look at the fascinating inner workings of her<br />
musical mind. Every line she draws embodies a chord. The dialogue between<br />
music and visual art is also reflected in Kassabova’s poems, making their tonal<br />
message especially captivating.<br />
Den Klang heraushören<br />
In Irina Kassabovas Werken lebt die klassische Musik. Die Künstlerin hat eine<br />
musikalische Ausbildung genossen und fühlt sich schon Zeit ihres Lebens tief<br />
mit der Musik verbunden. In ihren Bildern wird das Einfühlungsvermögen<br />
deutlich, mit dem sie Musikinstrumente in Szene setzt. Harmonisch klingen sie<br />
aus dem weißen Hintergrund hervor und fordern die Nichtfarben Schwarz und<br />
Weiß künstlerisch heraus. Im Spiel der Linienverläufe ihrer Kohle- und Pastellzeichnungen<br />
entfaltet eine musische Geisteswelt ihren Charme. Jeder gezeichnete<br />
Strich verkörpert einen eigenen Akkord. Der Dialog zwischen Musik und<br />
bildender <strong>Kunst</strong> spiegelt sich auch in Kassabovas Dichtkunst wider. So ist auch<br />
die tonale Aussage ihrer Poesie besonders fesselnd.<br />
