The art gift book introduces 33 selected artists from 20 countries around the globe. Starting in Vol. 2 of the “Excellent Art” series, each book will also introduce one famous musical work that may contribute to the harmonious overall sound, alongside a topic related selection of haiku poetry. Dreamy Visual Worlds<br />
The complex, nested grid compositions by Ai-Wen Wu<br />
Kratz invite observers to walk right into them and feel the<br />
sunny colors of flora and fauna. An imaginary floral scent<br />
wafts through her paintings. Brilliant worlds of colors and<br />
impressive, almost abstract shapes unfold vitality and<br />
elegance. Put together to create impressions of outdoor<br />
sceneries, they read like elaborately landscaped parks<br />
and gardens exuding a happy atmosphere. Displaying<br />
remarkable continuity, the native Chinese artist likes to<br />
experiment with shapes. Her juxtaposition of colors leads<br />
to a rhythmically pulsating permeation of surfaces with a<br />
