The art gift book introduces 33 selected artists from 20 countries around the globe. Starting in Vol. 2 of the “Excellent Art” series, each book will also introduce one famous musical work that may contribute to the harmonious overall sound, alongside a topic related selection of haiku poetry. Patrick Joosten‘s flowing gestures are full of emotional dedication. His artworks<br />
convince predominantly with the pathos of their colors. With his acrylic paintings,<br />
Joosten takes observers to a new reality, created by his wide brush stroke,<br />
and his way of scraping one color across the next to create unique transitions.<br />
The traces of his tools bear witness to his process-oriented way of working. The<br />
texture of colored spaces is a special focus in his work. The resulting stretches of<br />
painting become screens of projection for the observer’s thoughts, emotions,<br />
and dreams. Abstraction seems to have grown a soul. At times, a deep sky blue<br />
starts a conversation with bright red structures, or an immaterial lemon yellow<br />
runs into a figure sporting a gray design.<br />

Patrick Joostens fließende Effekte sind voller emotionaler Hingabe. Die <strong>Kunst</strong>werke<br />
beeindrucken vor allem durch ihr Farbpathos. Mit seinen Acrylgemälden<br />
entführt der Künstler in eine neue Realität, die er mit breitem Pinselduktus<br />
und durch ineinander verspachtelte Farben entstehen lässt. Malspuren vergegenwärtigen<br />
seine prozessuale Arbeitsweise. Dabei widmet er der Flächenhaftigkeit<br />
besondere Aufmerksamkeit. Farbzonen werden zu Projektionsflächen<br />
für die Gedanken, Emotionen und Träume des Betrachters. Die Ungegenständlichkeit<br />
