Program Objectives: The Flagler <strong>College</strong> Department of Theatre Arts offers the Bachelor of<br />
Arts degree, as a liberal arts and pre-professional program. Along with studies of dramatic<br />
literature, genre, and theater history, students are educated in multiple areas of theatre<br />
production, including performance (acting, dance, singing), design and theatre production<br />
(scenic, lighting, make-up & costume, house management), and directing. Combining<br />
academics with experiential learning, students are prepared for graduate school and the wide<br />
range of careers available in the Theater and Entertainment industries, which includes but is not<br />
limited to performance, design, technical theater, educational theater and Theater For Young<br />
Audiences (TYA), and Arts Administration.<br />
History: Flagler <strong>College</strong> celebrates over 50 years of providing a rich, comprehensive liberal arts<br />
education in a small, supportive environment. Its heritage, however, extends back more than a<br />
