Program Objectives: We want Serious, Fearless, Fierce Theatre Artists who want to succeed;<br />
and are prepared to work and train towards their success.<br />
History: Seven Full-Time Professors. All working Theatre professionals. No Graduate program<br />
here so you are not competing with Graduate Students for Roles or Design Assignments. We<br />
produce 6-14 productions each academic year. Musicals, Language plays, Revues,<br />
Contemporary scripts, Historical works. We create an original movement/theatre piece each<br />
year. Directing Majors and Theatre Education Majors direct in the Main Stage Season. Small<br />
Class Sizes afford the one-to-one education experience across our campus. The Odell Building,<br />
which houses our Theatre and Music Departments, celebrates its 100th Anniversary this<br />
Academic year.<br />
Facilities, Classrooms, and Theatres: Dance Studio. Huggins Auditorium. Mane Stage. Parlor<br />
Theatre. Piano Studio. Practice Rooms. 501 Scene Shop: 12,000 sq ft Scene Shop, over nearly<br />
4 acres, Multi-room Costume Shop<br />
