turned away from His grace.

God prepared Mary to be the mother of Jesus. He
kept her free of sin from the beginning of her life in
her mother’s womb. We call this the Immaculate
Conception. It means she was Holy all her life. God
made Mary the perfect mother for Jesus.
Jesus loved His mother, Mary. He took care of her in
a very special way. When it was time for the end of
her life, Jesus brought her to Heaven to be with Him.
She was taken into Heaven body and soul. We call this
moment the Assumption. Now, Mary reigns as Queen
of Heaven with her Son, Jesus the King.
