Types of Prayer
Directions: Listen as your teacher reads aloud about the types of
prayer. Then, write a prayer of your own.
UNEDITED PROOF
Prayer is talking with Jesus and listening to Him. We ask
Him questions, tell Him what is on our minds, thank Him for
everything He has done for us, and tell Him we are sorry for
sinning against Him. We also learn to listen for His voice in our
hearts. There are different types of prayer and God wants to hear
all of them that are on our hearts and minds.
1 Blessing and Adoration: We tell God we love Him. We
treat Him like our Father.
2 Petition: We ask God for good things. This includes
asking for forgiveness for our sins.
3 Intercession: We ask God to help others.
4 Thanksgiving: We thank God for the good things He has
given us.
