Learning Goals
• Receiving Holy Communion strengthens our union with Christ.
• Just as the food we eat becomes a part of us to nourish us and give
us life and health, so too does the Eucharist make us a part of Christ
and give us spiritual life.
• The Eucharist unites us more closely to the Church and makes us
more fully members of the one Body of Christ.
• We are able to worship Christ our Lord outside of the Mass in
Eucharistic Adoration.
