God created human beings in His image and likeness.
That means that He gave us:
• intellect (the ability to reason and understand)
• free will (the ability to make choices)
• the ability to love
During the time of Original Justice, Adam and Eve’s
souls worked the way God made them to work. They
could think as they should. They made good choices.
And, they loved God and each other.
These three gifts also came with a special
responsibility: to listen to and obey God.
