<strong>2022</strong> has been a very<br />
challenging year for us as<br />
like many businesses we<br />
have faced horrendous<br />
increases to our overheads.<br />
The cost of paper has spiralled<br />
out of control and together with other<br />
contributing factors sadly many<br />
publications have been forced out of<br />
business.<br />
As a free magazine this has been very<br />
concerning but despite suggestions to<br />
reduce the number of copies we produce<br />
and our pagination by having less free<br />
content we won’t compromise.<br />
On a positive note we have managed<br />
to weather the storm and for this we are<br />
very humbled.<br />
We have worked hard for over ten years<br />
to support the businesses and people<br />
who live in our region and with true<br />
Yorkshire grit we will continue to deliver a<br />
much loved and respected magazine.<br />
Looking ahead to 2023 we hope<br />
you will join us to support our local<br />
independent businesses as together we<br />
can all make such a difference.<br />
