Lakeside Village Outlet Shopping will be<br />
rocking with festive fun this season, with a<br />
jam-packed calendar of seasonal delights<br />
and Christmas bargains.<br />

Celebrations start with a bumper<br />
weekend on Saturday 3rd and<br />
Sunday 4th <strong>December</strong> where there<br />
will be a festive artisan and craft<br />
fayre to pick up unique gift ideas.<br />
Santa will also be visiting<br />
Lakeside that weekend to set up his<br />
special grotto and welcome excited<br />
visitors for a photo opportunity. The<br />
grotto will be open every weekend<br />
from 11am to 4pm, and then daily<br />
from Saturday 17th <strong>December</strong> right<br />
up until Christmas Eve when he’ll<br />
have to leave at 3pm to get ready<br />
for delivering all the presents.<br />
Every weekend throughout<br />
<strong>December</strong>, there will also be live<br />
music performances taking place at<br />
the centre, with acts including carol<br />
singers, choirs and the ever-popular<br />
vintage vocalists, the Lahdidahs.<br />
Shoppers will be spoilt for choice<br />
when it comes to gift shopping. The<br />
centre will be opening late until 7pm<br />
on the 21st and 22nd of <strong>December</strong>.<br />
New stores will be opening<br />
their doors too, with the latest<br />
additions to the centre including<br />
the return of Calendar Club and the<br />
pop-up store, Charnwood<br />
Entertainments, offering customers<br />
a great range of seasonal food<br />
and drink-based gifts.<br />
Di Mellis, centre manager at<br />
Lakeside Village, said: “We love<br />
Christmas here at Lakeside Village<br />
and we can’t wait to see our<br />
shoppers’ faces light up, whatever<br />
age they are, when they see our<br />
Christmas décor and the festive<br />
entertainment we’ll have on show.<br />
“Our stores will be overflowing<br />
with great value gift ideas and<br />
treats, as well as special party<br />
outfits for the Christmas season<br />
and, for the little ones, Santa will be<br />
on hand every weekend to meet and<br />
greet excited youngsters, filling the<br />
centre with festive cheer.”<br />
