FEELING FESTIVE Festive fu at Lakeside Village Outlet Shopping n Lakeside Village Outlet Shopping will be rocking with festive fun this season, with a jam-packed calendar of seasonal delights and Christmas bargains. “ We can’t wait to see our shoppers’ faces light up, whatever age they are, when they see our Christmas décor and the festive entertainment ” Celebrations start with a bumper weekend on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th December where there will be a festive artisan and craft fayre to pick up unique gift ideas. Santa will also be visiting Lakeside that weekend to set up his special grotto and welcome excited visitors for a photo opportunity. The grotto will be open every weekend from 11am to 4pm, and then daily from Saturday 17th December right up until Christmas Eve when he’ll have to leave at 3pm to get ready for delivering all the presents. Every weekend throughout December, there will also be live music performances taking place at the centre, with acts including carol singers, choirs and the ever-popular vintage vocalists, the Lahdidahs. Shoppers will be spoilt for choice when it comes to gift shopping. The centre will be opening late until 7pm on the 21st and 22nd of December. New stores will be opening their doors too, with the latest additions to the centre including the return of Calendar Club and the pop-up store, Charnwood Entertainments, offering customers a great range of seasonal food and drink-based gifts. Di Mellis, centre manager at Lakeside Village, said: “We love Christmas here at Lakeside Village and we can’t wait to see our shoppers’ faces light up, whatever age they are, when they see our Christmas décor and the festive entertainment we’ll have on show. “Our stores will be overflowing with great value gift ideas and treats, as well as special party outfits for the Christmas season and, for the little ones, Santa will be on hand every weekend to meet and greet excited youngsters, filling the centre with festive cheer.” www.lakeside-village.co.uk 32 aroundtownmagazine.co.uk
