‘Tis the season for celebrating and we<br />

hope you enjoy these festive cocktails<br />

Black Velvet<br />

Just when you thought it wasn’t<br />

possible to improve a Guinness,<br />

discover the black velvet cocktail<br />

Preparation less than 30 mins<br />

Serves 1<br />

Ingredients<br />

125ml Guinness<br />

125ml Champagne<br />

Method<br />

Pour the Guinness into a flute,<br />

filling it about halfway.<br />

Top up the flute with the<br />

champagne, pouring it slowly over<br />

the back of a spoon into the glass.<br />

Sparkling<br />

Cranberry<br />

Vodka Punch<br />

An easy and refreshing drink to<br />

make using seasonal flavours of<br />

cranberry and ginger.<br />

Ingredients<br />

per person<br />

50ml Cranberry Juice<br />

100ml Ginger Ale or Ginger Beer<br />

50ml Lemonade<br />

25ml Vodka<br />

Cranberries and rosemary<br />

sprigs to garnish<br />

Method<br />

Measure vodka and cranberry juice<br />

into a glass over ice. Top with ginger<br />

ale and lemonade to taste. Finish<br />

with garnish.<br />

Alternatively, you could make this in<br />

a pitcher and leave in the fridge to<br />

serve to guests.<br />
