veterans of our area and our
country who have served in
conflicts around the world,
�putting �� their own safety � at �risk �
in an effort to help others and
restore order.
As always, the publication of
the annual edition of “The War
Service � Recognition ��� Book” �
coincides with the period around Remembrance Day, and is a
testament to the men and women who have bravely served in
our armed forces. This book features over 400 veterans and is
distributed free of charge to schools, public libraries and
beyond so that many will be able to see and read about the real
people who served on our behalf.
On behalf of the Comox Valley Regional District, it gives me
great pleasure to support publication of this book in honour of
all our veterans.
