La Toscana<br />
Situated at the heart of Lopesan Meloneras Resort<br />
& Spa, this restaurant offers a luxurious and sophisticated<br />
atmosphere, and will make you feel as<br />
if you were in an 18th century Italian palace. It also<br />
boasts a quiet and intimate setting, ideal for enjoying<br />
a special lunch or dinner. Here you can enjoy<br />
the classics of Italian cuisine, such as spaghetti bolognese,<br />
truffle and mushroom parpadelle, pizzas,<br />
risotto, homemade ice cream and Gianduja cake.<br />
A range of interesting vegetarian options are also<br />

Palocortado<br />
Would you prefer trying a fine seafish dish, right on<br />
the sea front, with views out towards the Maspalomas<br />
Lighthouse? If so, restaurante Palocortado<br />

Located in the grounds of Hotel Faro,<br />
a Lopesan Collection Hotel, this restaurant offers<br />
different options, starting with traditional and<br />
modern Spanish gastronomy, such as tiradito de<br />
toro tuna belly, ropa vieja with squid or dry fish and<br />
saffron rice. But it also has hints of Latin gastronomy,<br />
with its homemade guacamole and ceviche<br />
from the catch of the day. You will even find the<br />
best of oriental gastronomy, such as bluefin tuna<br />
sashimi.<br />
Akara Lopesan Baobab<br />
El Churrasco Restaurante Grill<br />
They say that El Churrasco offers the best grilled<br />
meat around. This restaurant comes to you as one<br />
of the top Argentinian steakhouses on the island.<br />
But we recommend that you don't just stick to<br />
the grilled meat, as they also have other first class<br />
options such as chorizo criollo, provolone cheese,<br />
chicken breast and vegetables.<br />
Who said that a grill has to be all about meat? This<br />
place also offers great pasties, cheeses together<br />
with its steakhouse section, where diners can enjoy<br />
Argentinian beef steak, rump steak and much<br />
more. All this can be enjoyed with of great views of<br />
the sea, as El Churrasco is located on the Meloneras<br />
promenade, near Café del Mar.<br />
Akara Lopesan Baobab<br />
Stepping into this restaurant is like arriving at a<br />
house in the heart of Africa. It has a sophisticated<br />
and exotic decoration, and a presentation that will<br />
make you want to take pictures. <strong>Its</strong> location, in the<br />
heart of the Lopesan Baobab Resort hotel, makes<br />
it the ideal place to share a romantic dinner in a<br />
unique setting, and its flavours are certainly up to<br />
scratch. They include Baba ganoush, Hummus, Tajin,<br />
Cous-cous and many other dishes that you will<br />
almost certainly not have tried yet, such as African<br />
coconut and pumpkin soup with quail breast, cauliflower<br />
zaalouk and crispy lemon, or Gesmoorde<br />
vis marinated cod with tamarind, coriander and<br />
chilli, apricot chutney, sorghum and mini vegetables.<br />
We recommend leaving room for dessert,<br />
as the Kenyan chocolate with mango and ginger<br />
crumble will captivate you.<br />
Restaurante Ovo<br />
If you would like to enjoy a menu prepared with<br />
locally sourced products, in the incomparable setting<br />
of the Lopesan Villa del Conde Resort & Thalasso,<br />
then this is the place to come to. Restaurante<br />
Ovo oozes a warm and welcoming atmosphere,<br />
traditional yet with a modern twist.<br />
Their traditional dishes are given creative touches<br />
that enhance them even further. Some examples<br />
are: papas arrugadas potatoes with papaya mojo<br />
sauce, avocado gazpacho, semi-cured Txogitxu<br />
carpaccio, and veal cannelloni with creamy thyme<br />
bechamel sauce. Don’t forget that they are also<br />
specialists in grilled meats, of which you can enjoy<br />
Angus steak or Txogitxu beef sirloin.<br />
Restaurante Ceniza<br />
Located on the terrace of the Boulevard el Faro,<br />
this is one of the most select restaurants in the<br />
area. <strong>Its</strong> name ‘ceniza’, meaning ‘ash’, says it all: its<br />
speciality is char-grilled food. It features an innovative<br />
Spanish cuisine, with oysters being one of its<br />
specialities. They can be sampled au naturel, grilled<br />
Dutch-style, and with the mild acidity of the Calamansi,<br />
etc. You can also try their grilled razor clams<br />
or artichokes, grilled glazed parpatana tuna, turbot<br />
with saffron pil pil or, simply their fresh fish of the<br />
day. There is no shortage of traditional dishes either,<br />
including Almogrote fritters, panaderas potatoes<br />
and pork cheeks with herbs.<br />

known for its promotion of Asian gastronomic culture,<br />
and is located in the Lopesan Costa Meloneras<br />

in <strong>Gran</strong> <strong>Canaria</strong> and go for classics such as Japanese<br />
miso soup or gyozas. But also try out marinated<br />
Chinese cabbage with homemade Korean-style<br />
apple kimchi, Kinilaw or Filipino ceviche. This is one<br />
