Palocortado

the sea front, with views out towards the Maspalomas

El Churrasco Restaurante Grill
They say that El Churrasco offers the best grilled
meat around. This restaurant comes to you as one
of the top Argentinian steakhouses on the island.

the grilled meat, as they also have other first class
options such as chorizo criollo, provolone cheese,
chicken breast and vegetables.
Who said that a grill has to be all about meat? This
place also offers great pasties, cheeses together
with its steakhouse section, where diners can enjoy
Argentinian beef steak, rump steak and much
more. All this can be enjoyed with of great views of
the sea, as El Churrasco is located on the Meloneras
promenade, near Café del Mar.
Akara Lopesan Baobab
Stepping into this restaurant is like arriving at a
house in the heart of Africa. It has a sophisticated
and exotic decoration, and a presentation that will
make you want to take pictures. Its location, in the
heart of the Lopesan Baobab Resort hotel, makes
it the ideal place to share a romantic dinner in a
unique setting, and its flavours are certainly up to
scratch. They include Baba ganoush, Hummus, Tajin,
Cous-cous and many other dishes that you will
almost certainly not have tried yet, such as African
coconut and pumpkin soup with quail breast, cauliflower
zaalouk and crispy lemon, or Gesmoorde
vis marinated cod with tamarind, coriander and
chilli, apricot chutney, sorghum and mini vegetables.
We recommend leaving room for dessert,
as the Kenyan chocolate with mango and ginger
crumble will captivate you.
Restaurante Ovo
If you would like to enjoy a menu prepared with
locally sourced products, in the incomparable setting
of the Lopesan Villa del Conde Resort & Thalasso,
then this is the place to come to. Restaurante
Ovo oozes a warm and welcoming atmosphere,
traditional yet with a modern twist.
Their traditional dishes are given creative touches
that enhance them even further. Some examples
are: papas arrugadas potatoes with papaya mojo
sauce, avocado gazpacho, semi-cured Txogitxu
carpaccio, and veal cannelloni with creamy thyme
bechamel sauce. Don’t forget that they are also
specialists in grilled meats, of which you can enjoy
Angus steak or Txogitxu beef sirloin.
Restaurante Ceniza
Located on the terrace of the Boulevard el Faro,
this is one of the most select restaurants in the
area. Its name ‘ceniza’, meaning ‘ash’, says it all: its
speciality is char-grilled food. It features an innovative
Spanish cuisine, with oysters being one of its
specialities. They can be sampled au naturel, grilled
Dutch-style, and with the mild acidity of the Calamansi,
etc. You can also try their grilled razor clams
or artichokes, grilled glazed parpatana tuna, turbot
with saffron pil pil or, simply their fresh fish of the
day. There is no shortage of traditional dishes either,
including Almogrote fritters, panaderas potatoes
and pork cheeks with herbs.
