Dear First Lady Ann Lamont,
My name is Patricia Quintiliani. I am the mother of Lee Kemler. My son Lee was
poisoned and died on his 39th birthday, June 22,2021, in East Hartford from
fentanyl. The person responsible is still running the streets and the East Hartford
police department has done nothing!
Lee was a handsome, caring and beautiful person. At age 10, he watched his
younger brother “Sean” get run over by a garbage truck. Still, he excelled in school,
receiving a full scholarship to Mitchell College in New London, Connecticut. He was
a teacher’s assistant at “ High Roads” school in Hartford. In 2011, he was hit by a
drunk driver and a doctor prescribed him 150 OxyContin pills a month. He became
instantly addicted.
I know my son did not want to die. He was given a lethal dose of fentanyl; enough to
kill 10 people. Lee has left behind two beautiful daughters; Kaylee 11 years old and
Avalee 4 years old, who still reside in Connecticut.
Please help me place my son’s picture in our Capitol, for my son Lee is a victim of
this horrible epidemic. We would like a Drug Epidemic Memorial Wall in our State
Capitol.
