preserved and transformed into a usable space.
The water tower is repurposed with the design
of cubic shapes that convey the structure of
a fishing boat cab, the top two floors are the
reading area and a view point that overlooks
the panoramic view of the entire Tha Chin River
settlement of Tha Chalom.
Tha Chalom courtyard is developed with the
aim of becoming a learning and tourism destination
that will be linked as part of the whole
Tha Chalom cultural-based tourism development
plan. This will be an inspiration for
local communities to repurpose their looked
over park spaces and old abandoned buildings
to be creatively used for the lifestyles of all
ages and generations. To showcase the identity
of the area, and to create awareness for the
community to preserve and have pride in their
culture and city.
