By similar evidence — that of facts — we are cr^<br />

whelming, both in number and in weight. Yet wh<br />

can perceiv^e the transmission of influence ? Offei<br />

when we are utterly unconscious of what we do, oth<br />

ers are receiving indelible impressions from oui<br />

vvords, looks or actions, — impressions which will<br />

affect their destiny, and that of the world, forever.<br />

We forget this, and act without respect to others, in<br />

a great degree, because we do not see the power we<br />

exert.<br />
