Her qualities,<br />

and wdfe of Coriolanus, who saved their country <strong>by</strong><br />

affectionate appeals to the love and patriotism<br />

indignant warrior, — Lady Jane Grey, who chose<br />

imprisonment and death rather than to shed English<br />

blood in defence of her claims,— and even Queen Victoria,<br />

in whom the woman is mere prominent than<br />

the queen, with hosts of others, who have blended true<br />

womanly qualities with great and heroic deeds, live in<br />

tbe affections of both sexes.<br />
