Following the awards presentation, the event featured
an inspiring and heartfelt speech by Dirk Beveridge.
Dirk, a prominent advocate for change and innovation,
is renowned as one of the nation’s foremost speakers.
His address was truly exceptional, offering original,
well-proven, and sometimes disruptive insights. Dirk’s
enthusiasm and unwavering commitment to excellence
encouraged the audience to step out of their comfort
zones and embrace the necessity of change.
The evening continued with the presentation of
awards to the 2023 Scholarship winners. This year, it
was a moment of celebration as the MWFA reached an
impressive milestone, awarding a cumulative total of
$939,000 in scholarship funds since the inception of
the program. These scholarships, ranging from $500 to
$5,500, have been awarded to 145 member companies,
totaling 636 scholarships. This annual event reflects the
MWFA’s commitment to giving back to its members and
fostering the future of the industry.
