spirits’, a discourse on second sight, a discussion of the existence
of spirits and witches, dreams, spectres, omens and apparitions,
enchantment, necromancy ‘exemplified in the history.of Mr Duncan
Campbell.who though deaf and dumb, writes down any stranger’s
name at first sight, with their future contingencies of fortune’. Also
includes a tract by Dr Wallis entitled ‘The Method of Teaching Deaf
and Dumb Persons to Read, Write and Understand a Language’.
