*** Scarce. A curious work covering demons, geniis and ‘familiar<br />

spirits’, a discourse on second sight, a discussion of the existence<br />

of spirits and witches, dreams, spectres, omens and apparitions,<br />

enchantment, necromancy ‘exemplified in the history.of Mr Duncan<br />

Campbell.who though deaf and dumb, writes down any stranger’s<br />

name at first sight, with their future contingencies of fortune’. Also<br />

includes a tract by Dr Wallis entitled ‘The Method of Teaching Deaf<br />

and Dumb Persons to Read, Write and Understand a Language’.<br />
