*** Scarce works. Whitehurst was a clockmaker and scientist<br />
and made significant early contributions to Geology. He was a<br />
prominent member of the Lunar Society of Birmingham along<br />

Matthew Boulton. Includes his An Inquiry into the Original State<br />
