left-hand corner, ink recipes on half-title, ink name and newspaper
cutting mounted on title, original cloth, spine ends and corners

*** A real curiosity, of which Martin Parr wrote: “one of the

so l o m o n), tipped-in colour title and colour plates by Ze’ev Raban,
tissue guards, gilt endpapers, ownership panel filled in, original
blind-tooled leather with inset metal plate, plate oxidised at
edges, spine worn and splitting at head, folio, Jerusalem, 1930.

letterpress explanatory leaf, 65 engraved plates, a few folding or
double-page, errata leaf at end, rather foxed and soiled, a few
tears to folds, with title, preliminaries and lists of subscrbers to
the 1793 edition bound in at end, modern calf ruled and stamped
in blind, old red morocco label to spine, a few marks, 4to, for the
Author, by T.Bensley, sold by J.Mathews...G.Terry [& others], 1791.
