original cloth, spine a little faded, spine ends and corners a little
bumped, light spotting, dust-jacket, spine a little darkened, splits
to joints, spine ends and corners chipped with some minor repairs,
creased at extremities, rubbed, 8vo, 1951. £500 - £700
*** As with many of Ambler’s works, this is scarce in the dustjacket
in any condition.
205. Bradbury (Ray) mo b y di C k sC r e e n p l ay, copy no.26,
typescript, 134pp., annotated throughout in a script-editor’s hand,
original stitched wrappers, rubbed, 8vo, 1954. £200 - £300
*** The script was co-written with John Houston, during one of the
first meetings between to the two men, Bradbury confessed ‘’[I’ve]
never been able to read the damned thing.’ The partnership was
allegedly a tense one, compounded by Houston’s bullying tactics
towards Bradbury.
