*** As with many of Ambler’s works, this is scarce in the dustjacket<br />

typescript, 134pp., annotated throughout in a script-editor’s hand,<br />
original stitched wrappers, rubbed, 8vo, 1954. £200 - £300<br />
*** The script was co-written with John Houston, during one of the<br />
first meetings between to the two men, Bradbury confessed ‘’[I’ve]<br />
never been able to read the damned thing.’ The partnership was<br />
allegedly a tense one, compounded by Houston’s bullying tactics<br />
towards Bradbury.<br />
