modern gravity space missions (FLURY, 2005). In SASGEN<br />

et al. (2007) secular trends in the geoid over Antarctica<br />

from the most recent GRACE gravity time series and geophysical<br />

models are evaluated and optimally combined by<br />

means of Wiener filtering. The results there indicate the<br />

improved quality but also homogeneity of the augmented<br />

GRACE gravity field series provided by different centres<br />

(including GFZ).<br />
