DAY 1: Your Door to Door service will transfer you from home to the airport for your
flight to Cork. On arrival a local coach will transfer us to Tralee to check in to our
hotel for our 4 night stay.
DAY 2: Today we have included an excursion to Glengarriff, which derives its name
from the rugged beauty of the mountains surrounding the village. We also enjoy an
included boat trip over to Garinish Island to see its famous collection of plants and
world renowned Italianate Gardens.
DAY 3: Following breakfast we will enjoy an excursion along the Dingle Peninsula,
once cited as ‘the most beautiful place on Earth’ by the National Geographic. We
travel through a number of different fishing villages and market towns, enjoying the
many seaside resorts along the way.
DAY 4: Today’s excursion is to the beautiful Ring of Kerry, home to many aspects of
Ireland’s rich and ancient heritage. This mystical and unspoilt region has been casting
its spell on visitors for hundreds of years and its spectacular beauty is not to be
missed. Our 100 mile round trip features wonderful coastal views as well as a
breathtaking trip across the mountains.
DAY 5: Today we depart Tralee and take the ferry over the Shannon Estuary into the
Burren National Park. This is a barren limestone landscape by the sea. We stop at the
Cliffs of Moher which rise 700 ft above the Atlantic before continuing via Galway to
Westport and our hotel for the next 3 nights.
DAY 6: Morning at leisure in Westport to enjoy a stroll along the tree lined boulevard
known as the Mall with views over to the Caroowbeg River. Later we take an
excursion over the Atlantic Bridge to Achill Island to see the spectacular mountain
views & magnificent sandy beaches.
DAY 7: Today’s excursion is to
Connemara where the craggy
mountain peaks, expansive
sandy beaches and network of
lakes have inspired many
famous poets and artists. Our
tour includes Killary Harbour,
Clifden and stunning views of
the Twelve Bens.
DAY 8: Depart Westport and
travel to nearby Knock Airport
for our return flight to the UK
and your Door to Door service
journey home.
