microbial biomass N. The extracts with CuSO4 had CV values of 3.1 and 3.3%, for
microbial biomass C and N, whereas the ZnSO4 extracts had CV values between 26 and
57%. Differences between the 0.01 and 0.05 M CuSO4 extracts were lower, at 4.5 and
2.0% respectively.
