5.2.6. Statistical analysis<br />

The results presented in the tables are arithmetic means and expressed on an oven-<br />

dry basis (about 72 h at 60°C). The significance of difference was tested by one-way<br />

analysis of variance for repeated measures. All statistical analyses were performed using<br />

JMP 7.0 (SAS Inst. Inc.).<br />

5.3 Results<br />

The dry matter percentage of faeces samples ranged between 13 and 17 % (data not<br />
